They started me on prednisone, a very high dose. Then I sat in the hospital
for a week, wondering what I was waiting for! I didn't know at the time
but they wanted to make sure I wouldn't get deathly ill from this drug.

forgot to give me some, I quit. This drug can't be stopped cold turkey
on high doses,It literally would be like committing sucide.
I turned it down because I am doing o.k. and the doc's words
were if that doesn't work, then you are in trouble.Well Doc's don't
know why, but my body has adapted to this rare condition. It was a
trying time and lead to many complications in my life. Because of
this condition,Doctors insisted that I have c-sections when having a child.
Then when I was pregnant with my fourth child I went to a different doctor
and a different hospital.I was never to expect the joy of having a child naturally.
But in March of 1993,I had this very experience.
It was fabulous.
so bad inside, and had to pop Iron pills like candy for a week.
